Information design is the attempt to organise information or data in a way that allows the viewer to better understand it. The designer must take complex and unstructured information and simplify it so that the viewer can efficiently and effectively interpret it. Information Design can be presented in the form of things like graphs, tables, layout, typography, graphics or illustrations.
The way in which the information is presented will depend on the type of information, the intended audience and the medium through which it is illustrated. Experience design on the other hand is arranging the information or interaction induce a specific experience.
